Archos company today introduced a new portable gaming console Archos Gamepad, running the operating system Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS). The device offers a 7-inch capacitive display, a few physical buttons and analog stick.
Archos GamePad is powered by a dual-core processor with a frequency of 1.5 GHz, and the quad-GPU Mali 400 MP. Google certified device receives and access to the online store Google Play.
Archos is about to sign contracts with leading game developers to Android, so they created the titles to support the physical buttons and sticks.
In Europe GamePad will be worth 150 euros (about 188 dollars).
