Casio has today like many other camera manufacturers have a couple of new models before that are convincing to the Photokina again. The new Casio Exilim EX-ZR700 flagship shines with up to 18x optical zoom and save RAW images and it also has to have a high-resolution 3-inch display (640 × 1440).
The Casio Exilim EX-ZR400 little brother is similarly good, but remains only at 960 × 480 pixels for the display and 12.5 times optical zoom, plus the possibility of the same charge even take 515 pictures, instead of just 470 pieces. Also the wide angle of 24mm can convince to the 25mm end of the zoom camera further out a bit more.
Above all, the professional design and a focus on the key features of both cameras from Casio feature continues. Wifi and touch screen functionality and are intentionally omitted to maintain the rapid start-up and good focus.
The ZR400 will be available in February for 279 euros in black, white, silver and blue. The ZR700 will appear but unfortunately not until the end of March in white, black, brown and red for 349 euros.
