Leaked in late June by a U.S. site, the new ARCHOS tablet Carbon 97 is official and is part of a new range ELEMENTS launched by the French manufacturer.

The ARCHOS 97 Carbon features a design with aluminum finish, a capacitive touch screen of 9.7 IPS “(1024 x 768), an ARM Cortex A8 @ 1GHz with 1GB RAM, 16GB capacity, a microSD slot, the WiFi, a 0.3 MPx camera front, the back of a camera 2MPx, a USB host port, compatibility H.264, MPEG-4, MP3, WAV, APE, OGG, FLAC, JPEG, BMP, GIF, PNG or even an HDMI output, all under Android ICS 4.x. Side autonomy, the manufacturer announced 8h and 20h video to audio. Its dimensions are 239 x 184 x 11.5mm for 620g. The tablet will be available this July retail price of 307.66 US$.
