Company Fujitsu, Sony and ASUSTeK Computer (ASUS) as being among those who first start using LCD panel production Sharp, which uses a technology called IGZO. This was our colleagues reported, citing sources in Japan.
Previously, the company Sharp has acknowledged that among customers IGZO panels have Japanese manufacturers, but specific companies were not named.
It’s only been a little time since the announcement of the first smartphone with a display IGZO, debuted in Japan yet another device with a screen, made by the same technology. They became the tablet Aquos Pad SHT21 manufactured by Sharp.
As noted, the use of the LCD panel on the basis of indium, gallium, and zinc (InGaZnO), which is characterized by high brightness and low power consumption, allowed to increase the battery life of the finished device by 2.5 times compared to the previous model.
