Good results for the Italian Solar in March

According to Terna, equivalent transalpine RTE, solar Italian posted excellent results in March. According to the charge of electricity transmission in the boot, 6.4% of national production was provided by the PV during the month just ended, or 1.8 TWh.
These good results should encourage the country to continue its path of development of solar, while Italy last year became the world’s largest market sector with 6.9 GW installed.
In some areas of the Mezzogiorno, enjoying optimum light conditions, the production cost of solar is already exceeding that of conventional electricity, mainly from fossil fuels (and according to the UN this should be done in half the countries of the world in 2015, including France).
92% of Italians also believe that photovoltaics will be the largest source of their country in the future.
