Sony Xperia Acro S, Tipo Dual Advance and go to the U.S. market


Sony plans to launch in the U.S., three new Android-smartphone: Xperia Acro S, Xperia Tipo Dual and Xperia Advance. All three appeared on the official website of the U.S. representation Sony Mobile with a note on sale soon. If Xperia Acro S and Xperia Tipo Dual will be presented in black and white, the Xperia Advance will receive three colors: black, white and yellow.

Acro S is a high-level smartphone. The device is controlled by the operating system, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, offers LED HD-display diagonal of 4.3 inches, support HSPA, Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n, DLNA, GPS, Bluetooth 3.0, Sony Music Unlimited, PlayStation Certification and xLOUD. No update Jelly Bean for the 2011 Sony Xperia


Sony should not offer to update to Android 4.1, aka Jelly Bean, for Xperia released in 2011.
Sony, through the voice of John Cooper, product manager for Sony Mobile in the UK, has posted several responses on Facebook. He argued that neither the Xperia Arc S, or the Xperia Mini Pro should not be entitled to an update Jelly Bean. Smartphone Sony Xperia S got Android 4.0 ICS (video)


As promised, Sony has released in early summer, the operating system upgrade to its flagship Xperia S. Recall that this smartphone was introduced in January this year. During his presentation, the Japanese manufacturer said that the new product is running an operating system Android 2.3 Gingerbread, but in the second quarter of this year will certainly get a new version of Android. And so it happened.

Updating Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is available “on air” (via W-Fi). It weighs about 200 megabytes, and bears, in addition to the operating system itself, as a number of updates including a multimedia player WALKMAN, «Album» and «Movies».
