The new cameras Lumix DMC-TZ4 and DMC-TZ5 Digital Camera are the 8.1-megapixerl DMC-TZ4 and the 9.1-megapixel DMC-TZ5, following a logical progression from the 6.0-megapixel TZ2 and 7.2-megapixel TZ3.

Both of the new cameras feature the same 28mm-equivalent 10x zoom lens, compact stainless steel body, Mega OIS image stabilisation and Intelligent Auto mode as the earlier cameras. The TZ4 features the same 2.5-inch monitor screen as the TZ2, but the TZ5 adds several new features into the equation, of which the most noticeable will be the bigger 3-inch monitor with a resolution of an impressive 460,000 dots, twice the resolution of any other compact camera monitor on the market.
