Google buys patents from Kodak is now officially in the value of 527 million USD
Kodak puts further into financial difficulty and is correspondingly quickly got rid of his photo and printer division. Now they have decided to sell some of their countless patents to stay longer above water. Some companies like Apple had an interest in this, but ultimately, they have now decided to cut a deal with Google which was approved by a court, too.

Originally, the patents were rated 2 billion U.S. dollars, but for 527 million U.S. dollars to buy not only the patents, but also peace between the Company, which are to prevent further disputes.

Fewer trials are always good and hopefully, other companies in the new year a little better tolerate each other.
