The New Phone Google Nexus S

The New Phone Google Nexus S features a 4 inch wvga super amoled capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, and 235ppi, and a 1GHz Cortex A8 hummingbird processor, and it runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread. features a rather swish curved 4inch , runs off a 1Ghz Cortex A8 ‘Hummingbird’ processor, and will be the first phone to ship with the latest version of Android, 2.3 aka Gingerbread, a 1 GHz Hummingbird processor with dedicated Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) making it one of the fastest phones available. It also has a contour design, 16GB of internal memory and front and rear facing cameras for video calling.
Google boasts that the Nexus S will be ‘one of the fastest phones on the market’ and that the curved screen ‘fits comfortably in the palm of your hand and along the side of your face; Google Nexus S include a front facing VGA camera for video chat and a rear 5 megapixel camera, there is also 802.11 bgn WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR.

Google say that the the Nexus S will be be launched in the UK from December 20, through the Carphone Warehouse and the smattering of Best Buy UK stores. Carphone Warehouse will be offering it either subsidised through Vodafone, free on a £35 a month contract, or SIM-free for the unsubsidised price of £549.95.
