LG has introduced the world’s thinnest new LCD display 5.2-inch for smartphones with premium-resolution Full HD, Checking in at only 2.2mm in thickness, which uses the technology of OGS.

LG Display Introduces World’s Slimmest Full HD LCD Panel for Smartphones. According to the developers, one of the advantages of the display is excellent viewing angles. However, the main feature is its size. The thickness of the new display – 2.2 mm, and the size of the bounding box is 2.3 mm.

The display was 1920 x 1080 pixels, each of which is composed of red, green and blue (RGB) subpixels. Brightness is 535 nits.

Previously available information about what’s flagship smartphone LG Optimus G2 running Android, which is expected to be unveiled next month, will thin and narrow display.
