Nokia announced the Lumia 820 with a 4.3-inch AMOLED display


During the New York Event item Nokia announced its second smartphone based operating system WP8. New product called Nokia Lumia 820, offers a slightly smaller screen than the flagship 920 and lost a couple of cool new features.

Nokia Lumia 820 offers a 4.3-inch AMOLED display with WVGA resolution (not HD), built on technology ClearBlack. It also offers excellent sensitivity, as the screen at 920, allowing you to work with the device, even with gloves, but lacks the technology PureMotion HD +.

New made in the same case in polycarbonate. Powered Nokia Lumia 820 running Windows Phone 8 (of course), and based on the same chipset Qualcomm S4, as the 920, a dual-core Krait with a frequency of 1.5 GHz. The smartphone offers 1 GB of RAM. Nokia says that consumes this tandem is less than “competitors on four cores” (apparently talking about 45nm Tegra 3). The battery is 1650 mAh capacity is used.

Lumia 820 also supports wireless charging, has 8 GB of memory (plus 7 GB in the cloud SkyDrive), and, in contrast to the leader, can offer slot microSD.

Compared to the Lumia 920, the younger brother lost his technology PureView, but also offers a Carl Zeiss optics and an 8-megapixel sensor. LTE support is present, as is the support NFC by itself Windows Phone 8.

The dimensions are – 123.8 mm x 68.5 mm x 9.9 mm, weight – 160 grams. Novick also offer several body colors.
