Nokia today announced financial results the third quarter


Nokia has announced its financial results for the third quarter of 2012. Total losses of the company amounted to 576 million euros, or about 754 million dollars.

The company also announced that net sales for the third quarter of 2012 amounted to 7.2 billion euros, or 9.4 billion dollars. The Finnish giant has shared data on how many managed to sell a line of smartphones Lumia.

The total number of units sold Lumia declined to 2.9 million units. Nokia noted that the decline in sales is likely to affect the announcement of new Lumia devices based on the operating system Windows 8, whose release will take place at the end of this month.
