ZTE N880E is the first smartphone running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean


After the June announcement of a new version of the operating system, Google, many wondered who was the first venture to release a smartphone running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Among the favorites are Samsung and HTC, manufacturers of sophisticated Android-smartphone, but the Chinese are ahead of them …: company ZTE began to spread in the domestic market smartphone N880E, running Android 4.1.

Despite the novelty of the operating system, the smartphone is nothing new – the model went on sale in May of this year and by now its sales have already exceeded one million units. Curiously, until recently, the device behaved OS Android 2.3 – the developers spent a significant upgrade of the software part of the product.

But the hardware is, unfortunately, has not undergone revision. As a result, N880E, even though running Android 4.1, refers to the average smartphone. Its equipment includes a 4-inch 480 x 800 pixels, a single processor 1 GHz (SoC – Qualcomm 7627A), 512 MB RAM and 4 GB of integrated flash memory, 3.2 megapixel camera with receiver GPS, communication modules Bluetooth 2.1 and Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n. Overall dimensions of the smartphone – 119 x 61 x 10,4 mm, weight – 130 grams.
