It is a tradition at the manufacturer, here comes the versions “DirectCU” graphics cards GeForce GTX 680 manufacturer ASUS.
Occupy not less than three PCI slots, the cooling system of ASUS house has already been proven on previous generations of cards. Advertised as 20% more efficient than the original system, the device is supported by a PCB modified for the occasion. Card dedicated to overclocking, the GTX 680 DirectCU is provides a power stage to stage 10 (8 +2) PWM.
The GTX 680 DirectCU will be available in two versions: the GTX680-DC202GD5 benefit from a slight factory overclock: 1019 MHz – 1084 MHz Turbo boost. The GTX680-DC2T-2GD5 in turn will provide more convincing frequencies already out of cardboard: 1137 MHz – 1201 MHz with Turbo Boost. To clearly differentiate between the two cards, the most powerful is marked “TOP”.

Frequencies aside, these two GTX 680 share the same technical characteristics as follows: 2GB of GDDR5 memory on a 256-bit bus, two DVI output HDMI and DisplayPort. Power is provided by a connector and a 8pins of 6pins. It is expected that more and more builders fail over this solution instead of 2x 6pins recommended by NVIDIA.
