Spotify is trying to resolve longstanding issues that remained on the Android version. Addressing issues such as multiple crashes, the service would also address the many concerns facing the ICS app on Android.
The Android version of Spotify is that which is the least followed by developers, the last update from November. Spotify has not officially confirmed that an update was indeed under way, but it seems inevitable.
