According to the source, Sony is working on a bezzerkal′noj camera with polnokadrovym image sensor. Initially the Japanese manufacturer had planned in 2013, to release wide camera with translucent mirror, but later it was decided to transfer all effect on the development of bezzerkal′noj model. As you know, in September this year, released a full frame camera Sony α99, which uses the technology of half-silvered mirror.

The camera will belong to the upper segment, possessing all advantages of SLR models, including quick autofocus. To fit this model will be a few more models of Sony NEX-7, but smaller SLR cameras. Let’s remind, in-camera Sony NEX-7 uses APS-C sensor.

Allegedly there is testing two prototypes. One has a resolution of 24 Megapixels sensor, the second a 30-32 Mp. Given that development is at an early stage, the camera is expected to be out until late 2013 or early 2014, even.

The camera will be equipped with E-mount bayonet. With it you can use the lenses for cameras with A bayonet-mount.

In the autumn of this year, was presented the world’s first full frame digital compact camera Sony Cyber-shot RX1.
