Not that long ago we took a long hard look at the Samsung “super zoom” point ‘n shoot and walked away fairly impressed as it did have a lot of nifty features. Well it seems that Samsung has decided to announce the successor to it. The WB700 builds upon everything the WB650 had and then adds even MORE features to it! The biggest of these new features the WB700 boasts is an 18x optical zoom and if you are willing to lower the resolution (but not the quality of the shot) Samsung’s “Smart Zoom” turns that into a 24X zoom.
