Tablet PC Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet 2 running Windows 8 before it officially


It’s only been eight days since the advent of the preliminary details of the Tablet PC ThinkPad Tablet 2, and Lenovo have already celebrated the official premiere of the product in the United States. As expected, the novelty has little in common with its predecessor: it uses the Intel Atom family of Clover Trail, and the functions assigned to the control of Windows 8.

The tablet has touch screen diagonal of 10.1 inch 1366 × 768 pixels, one based on the panel type IPS, two cameras (resolution of the main – 8 megapixel, rear – 2 M), a full-size port USB, slot for memory cards microSD, as well as built adapters wireless Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC. The list of standard equipment includes a pen storage compartment which is in the shell plate, and offered at an extra charge to get a keyboard and a docking station. The latter is equipped with three ports USB, video output HDMI and RJ-45 adapter, Ethernet. The list of optional equipment appear as adapters and 3G LTE – customers will be free to choose between them according to their requests, and the fingerprint sensor.

The thickness of the ThinkPad Tablet 2 is 9.8 mm, and weight is approximately 585 grams. Lenovo claims that off-line phone can work about 10 hours.
