Google reported second-quarter 2012


Google has published a financial report for the second quarter of 2012. Compared to the same period in 2011 total revenue grew by 35% and amounted to 12.21 billion dollars, while net profit increased by 11.2% and is equal to 2.79 billion dollars. Most of the online services brought Google, affiliate programs and advertising. They accounted for 10.96 billion dollars.

May 22 ended with the accession of Motorola Mobility to Google. In case the manufacturer to intervene until no one is going, the data for the second quarter included in the overall report. Motorola recorded a drop in operating profit to 233 million dollars – up to 1.25 billion. 843 million brought the mobile sector and 407 – a segment of home devices.
In the next quarter, Google expects to strengthen its position concerning, primarily, with the release tablet Google Nexus 7.
