Today begins WOWZAPP 2012: Worldwide hackathon for Windows, the first global hackathon organized by Microsoft. 16 500 students, owners of start-ups and developers from around the world will meet this weekend to create applications for Windows 8 system Hackathon will take place simultaneously across five continents in 112 locations – including as many as four Polish cities of! This will be the largest event of its kind in the history of the company.

WOWZAPP participants from 53 countries, including the United States, Canada, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, India, Brazil, Switzerland and Polish will be non-stop for 48 hours to work together on new applications for Windows 8 New Microsoft, available from 26 October, has sold over 4 million copies within 3 days of release.
