OS Windows 8 handed OEM-producers

In keeping with its own schedule, Microsoft today announced the final completion of the development of Windows 8 and its transition to the stage of RTM. This means that OEM-manufacturers of tablet PCs, desktops and laptops of today began to receive media with copies of the distribution of the new OS.

New Digital Gadgets recalls that Windows 8 is a worthy successor to the Group of Seven – she got a great number of improvements and additions, including the graphical user interface Metro. The final release of the system, including its version for Tablet PCs based on processors with ARM-architecture, will be held October 26 this year. After graduating from the Eight, Microsoft has also ceased to develop an online store Windows Store, which now also acquired the prefix RTM. This means it is fully ready for the influx of visitors and the simultaneous removal of access restrictions (previously known to get into it could only beta-testers, and it is strictly by invitation).

To date, the Windows Store Directory contains 80 applications, and developers can assign them their own cost, without consulting first with the software giant. List of offers online store has started to replenish, and by the time Windows 8 release of its virtual shelves have been pounding on the virtual same product. In fairness we recall that most of the programs presented therein can be found at third-party resources. This is unlike Windows Store of its analogues for mobile operating systems. Of course, in our country, this difference is also a virtue.
