Sony closing servers for PlayStation titles

Closing servers for four games (PS3 / PSP) Sony including Motorstorm: Pacific Rift Sony made official the closure of four servers running on games consoles.
As has been fairly recently the case with those of Metal Gear Online (June 12), the servers that support multiplayer games online game will stop soon. Sony, which has at least the merit of saying openly (where some prefer to stop with discretion), has just the thing to make it official on its website stating the end of the activity of dedicated servers for four of its games: a PS3, the pleasant MotorStorm: Pacific Rift, and three on PSP. Here is a list:

On 31 August, closing servers for:
– The Eye Of Judgment (PSP)

From October 1, close to the servers:
– MotorStorm: Pacific Rift (PS3)
– MotorStorm: Arctic Edge (PSP)
– SOCOM: U.S. Navy Seals Fireteam Bravo 3 (PSP)

No reason is stated precisely, but it’s a safe bet that – as with other relevant securities – the judgment is void due to attendance or too low to justify maintaining the servers.
